Al-Haq is an independent Palestinian non-governmental organization based in Ramallah, West Bank in occupied Palestine. Established in 1979, the NGO (non-governmental agency) promotes human rights by documenting violations against the “individual and collective rights of Palestinian” people in the Occupied Territories. In this video, the group documents the story of Farasin, a fourteen-year-old who’s family was threatened by displacement in the West Bank. He describes the day he was handed orders from Israeli settlers on July 29, 2020. Farasin reflects fondly on his hometown, his village life, and his family home. Watch his story below.
