This film shows what would happen if African Americans and Palestinians were to witness each other’s experiences through the story of Martin Luther King, Jr. The filmmakers follow Dr. Clay Carson, Stanford Professor and MLK scholar and an African American Christian gospel choir to the Holy Land as they collaborate with the Palestinian National Theatre to present the play The Passages of Martin Luther King. The cultural exchange leads to new connections and perspectives.
