Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield are the Jewish American founders of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. The duo came under fire in 2021 when they announced they would halt ice cream sales in the illegally occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. Cohen responded: “If I care about the people in Palestine just as much as I care about the people in Israel, is that anti-Semitic? There are mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers in Palestine that I care about. I care about their human rights.”
