Parents Circle

The Parents Circle – Families Forum (PCFF) is a grassroots organization of bereaved Palestinians and Israelis. A truly beautiful organization of people who have been affected by conflict more than anyone else, the PCFF promotes reconciliation as an alternative to hatred and revenge.

New York Times Columnist, Nicholas Kristof spoke with Parents Circle members Meytal Ofer and Bassam Aramin about the hard work of promoting reconciliation amid great traumas. He describes Parents circle as a group as a force of “moral leadership” championing “nuance and empathy” despite having to swim “against the tide”.

There’s an excerpt of a movie about Parents Circle members Bassem Aramin and Rami Elhanan here.
