This award-winning documentary by Israeli filmmaker Yoav Shamir shows everyday interactions between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians at Israel Defense Forces military checkpoints in the Palestinian Authority. The film shows how both the Palestinian civilians subject to these military encounters and the young Israeli soldiers enforcing them are stuck in positions that lack human dignity.
