David Sheen is a Toronto-born, Haifa-based investigative journalist, who has worked for dozens of local, regional, and international news outlets, from Haaretz to Electronic Intifada, since 2010. He has focused extensively on the Israeli far-right, including the Kahane movement within the Netanyahu government. In addition, he has documented the treatment and struggles of African asylum seekers and immigrants in Israel and analyzed systemic race relations and minority rights within Israeli society.
Sheen has given extensive lectures on racial conflict, religious extremism, and the political far right of Israel, all available on his YouTube channel.
His lecture, Israeli Politics Decoded, effectively breaks down how Israeli political leaders and parties support apartheid in Israel/Palestine.
