Israeli journalist Hagar Shezaf discovered and published on the effort to hide the documents in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz. Professor Pappe wrote about the efforts to “erase” everything Palestinian in the Electronic Intifada. Professor Pappe pointed out that Lisa Goldman published about the re-classification of de-classified historical documents in 2016.
