Five years after requesting access to documents looted from Palestinian institutions during the 1948 war, the Israel State Archives provided historian Shay Hazkani with a list of files which will remain concealed until 2040 in the name of national security. Some of these files detail pre-1948 plans for an independent Palestinian state.
