Israeli Minister of Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, leader of the far-right party Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) was filmed dancing to a well-known racist chant, “May your village burn,” at a wedding in 2026.

Sometimes translated as “Burn your village,” the racist chant comes from the La Familia ultras, the far-right supporters of Beitar Jerusalem Football Club. This chant directly calls for the destruction of the homes of Palestinian people.

Minister Ben-Gvir and his family live in Kiryat Arba, an Israeli settlement in the Occupied West Bank. These Israeli settlements in Occupied Palestinian territories have been found by many international bodies including the United Nations and the International Court of Justice to be illegal. Despite international pressure, the government of Israel approved 19 new Israeli settlements in the West Bank in December 2025.
