J Street
J Street

J Street is a nonprofit that organizes pro-peace and pro-democracy Americans to promote U.S. policies that embody their “deeply held Jewish and democratic values.” They work within the American political system to connect the Jewish community with elected officials who share their core values to advocate for policies that “advance justice, equality, peace, and democracy in Israel, in the wider region and in the United States as well.”

The organization’s goal is to secure a “Jewish and democratic future for Israel” that reflects Jewish values. They believe this must include a “negotiated resolution agreed to by Israelis and Palestinians can meet the legitimate needs and national aspirations of both peoples.”
