Three 18-year-old Israelis, Yuval Moav, Itamar Greenberg, and Oryan Mueller, have joined the thousands of Jews refusing their military service to Israels Defense Forces. These Jewish conscientious objectors declared their refusal to enlist in mandatory military service as an act of protest against the occupation and current war on Gaza. The young men were each sentenced to 30 days in a military prison which will likely to be extended to several months, as has occurred in similar cases.
