Jewish Voices: Jews Say No!

Jews Say No! is a group that began during “Operation Cast Lead,” the Israeli attack on Gaza in December/January 2008/09. Ever since then, Jews Say No! has gathered almost every month on the Upper West Side in New York City, often with allies, to show their disagreement with Israeli governmental policies toward the Palestinian people. Israel’s recent assault on Gaza (“Operation Protective Edge”) and its years-long siege of Gaza show the importance of their continued presence.  Jews Say No! engages in community education, street theatre, and organizing, and makes their voices heard within the Jewish community and as partners in the broader movement for justice in Palestine/Israel.

Jews Say No! published Donna Nevel’s insightful article, “Letter from a Former Zionist Who Supports Justice for Palestine.”
