Jews Say No Protests Friends of the IDF
We will not be silent

New York-based peace group, Jews Say No, rallied 700 activists from more than 30 peace organizations in March 2010 to stand in opposition to the $1,000-per-plate fundraiser dinner for Friends of the IDF at the Waldorf-Astoria on Park Avenue. Starting by reading the Goldstone Report, the United Nation’s Fact Finding Mission which found that the IDF and Gaza militants had committed war crimes, the activists then encircled the Waldorf-Astoria in a single-file protest, calling light to the atrocities committed by the IDF and the fundraiser’s guest of honor, Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi, IDF chief of staff.

Multiple prominent publications covered their protest, such as The Nation and The Jerusalem Post.
