On November 23, 2020, OFIP hosted a webinar with Dr. Rashid Khalidi discussing his book “The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine.” Dr. Khalidi is the Edward Said Chair of Modern Arab Studies at Columbia University in New York. He has a PhD from Oxford University and is the co-editor of the Journal of Palestine Studies. The Ottawa Forum on Israel/Palestine (OFIP) encourages the development of a Canadian foreign policy in the Middle East based on values of democracy, equality, justice and respect for international law. OFIP promotes balanced foreign policy through calm and respectful conversation based on fundamental principles of equality and dignity. OFIP offers free access to some tremendous resources including memories of the Nakba and other interviews.
