The Palestine Jewish Colonization Association
Palestine Jewish Colonization Association

Formed in 1924, The Palestine Jewish Colonization Association began as a reorganization of the Jewish Colonization Association, originally established in 1891. The group’s self-described goals stated the colonization of Palestinian land, facilitating the emigration of Jews to settle Palestine with funding from wealthy Zionist families. Through both land purchases and construction, the Association built countless Jewish settlements, displacing Palestinian communities in the process. After transferring its land holdings to Israel, the organization disbanded in 1958.
