The first issue of Perspectives, the magazine of the Promised Land Museum, is now available. The magazine is a terrific resource for letting people know about the museum and the materials it offers.
This issue, Winter 2020, takes readers on an in depth tour of the museum’s “Creation of State” exhibit. There are also articles on current events and a Jewish American’s evolving view of Israel.

A central theme of this issue, and of the museum, is how people look at things differently depending on the context which they bring with them. We don’t see things the way they are; we see things as we are.
Understanding how context affects our perceptions can help alleviate many of the conflicts we see around us.
