Ron Shive (Full Interview)
Ron Shive

Ron Shive, Senior Pastor of Burlington, North Carolina’s First Presbyterian Church, talks about what he learned from his extensive travels throughout the Middle East over the last decade. Pastor Shive shares how hearing that the Israel/Palestine conflict is “too complicated” reminded him of what he heard about U.S. racial struggles growing up in the South. He argues that Americans’ choosing not to take a side is the same as taking the side of the oppressor.
