Ronnie Barkan

Ronnie Barkan is a Jewish-Israeli activist, math teacher raised in Raanana, near Tel Aviv, and the co-founder of Boycott from Within. Joshua Tartakovsky is a former Israeli soldier and an Israeli-American independent journalist. Barkan and Tartakovsky wrote an op-ed for Tikkun titled “Ultra-Orthodox Jews Draw the Line.” The article presents a truly Jewish perspective in how boycotting the state of Israel is paramount to “saving Judaism.”
