Sari Bashi is a Jewish Israeli lawyer and Program Director at Human Rights Watch. In her book Maqluba – Upside Down Love (in Hebrew), she describes how she met and fell in love with her Palestinian husband. They are currently raising their children in the West Bank. Bashi wrote an article for Cornerstone in Issue 84 for Spring 2022 titled “Umm Forat” about her experiences. She also maintains a blog by the same title.
