Ali Velshi

Canadian television journalist Ali Velshi is a senior economic and business correspondent for NBC News. In an MSNBC segment, he said: “Israel has a right to exist and to defend itself… but so do Palestinians.” He called Israel’s treatment of Palestinians a system of apartheid and disavowed the ongoing illegal Jewish settlements in the Occupied Territories.

With the latest round of violence, people, from MS-NBC reporter Ali Velshi to comedian John Oliver, are speaking out, including more Jewish voices calling for an end to the mistreatment of Palestinian families.
